May we find the courage to speak our truth,
May we be able to share our sorrows,
Let us tell our stories,
And if fear shows up, may it be shared as well!
May we allow our rage to be heard,
For if we leave it unprocessed and unrecognized,
It will never heal.
May we listen to those who dare to share.
For they are brave,
And they are opening the way,
To allow us to do the same.
But if we do not listen, what will become,
Of this pain, of this wound,
Left unprocessed, in bodies filled with darkness?
May we see those who allow themselves to cry,
May we support them in their journey,
May we be present to watch and feel with them,
For when they are done,
Forgiveness will knock at the door.
And Joy and Love will then dance around the fire.
